As part of our typical equipment all our Vespa’s have back rests, which allow you to sit back and relax without having to worry about anything. It is a great device to keep children and elderly alike safe and comfortable for the whole ride. Many of our guests even take photos from the back of the bikes.

Safety is at the core of everything we do. All our drivers are first carefully screened and once they make the cut they undergo a very intensive training period before they join tours. Part of the main activities of Akim is to lead the training sessions and to make sure that all drivers fully adopt our strict safety standards.

Adventurous Cruise

Sometimes we navigate country paths or even the bottom of a dried-out lake. That is when the Vespa comes into its own, because the wide rear tires make for a smooth ride and give plenty of traction when it’s needed. We have had feedback that even very tall or weighty guests are always comfortable. For GoPro aficionado’s helmets with mounts are available!

Responsible Cruise

We only use new Vespa’s that also offer the latest technology in emission reduction. The four stroke engines of our Vespa’s are of the high-tech Low Emission Advanced Engine Range (LEADER) family. Unlike any other scooters and motorbikes on the Siem Reap roads our Vespa’s are all certified to comply with the strict Euro 3 emission standards.

We are operating our tours to give families an opportunity to get a holiday safely. We have implemented some new policies and procedures to increase your protection. Your health is our top priority.

  1. Helmets are disinfected after each use and on top, we give a hairnet on the day.
  2. Hand sanitizer gel will be set up throughout the activities as well as we have a handwashing station available at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner time.
  3. Staff will be wearing masks when driving around and interacting with guests in close contact.
  4. We have limited our group to 8 pax maximum and we proposed a special private tour features for all our activities.
